Semi-galley Zlobnaia
The size and the bow of the vessel resemble the structure of a semi-galley. During the Second Battle of Svensksund, the Swedes observed a Russian semi-galley sink on this spot. It is probably the Russian semi-galley Zlobnaia, which is known to have sunk during the same battle. Zlobnaia was completed at the St. Petersburg galley shipyard in 1788. The wreck contains several cannon carriage wheels and a pile of bricks in the bow. The bricks are indicative of an oven used to heat up cannonballs and shots for the battle. Due to the risk of fire, these ovens were rare in larger vessels.
